This is a generic yoga mat that is made from foam and not PVC. This type of foam is actually more expensive to manufacture but it does offer an advantage over regular PVC – foam is less toxic and has better cushioning. This yoga mat is perfect for those just getting started as it’s performance is very stable and usually quite sufficient in the beginning.

I use this mat in my studion, and I love it so much I purchased one for home use. I found this yoga mat to have perfect stability and support for my weak joints. The extra thickness is definitely appreciated by a tired old yogi like myself. I was not able to afford anything better, but I’m very satisfied with my yoga mat.
