Despite the manufacturer’s claim about this mat’s extra thickness, we found 1/4″ to be just average. There are many mats on the market that are thicker than this generic performer. We found nothing special about this yoga mat except for the colors – you get to choose from 12, which is nice. Otherwise, this yoga mat is the same generic mat you can find at your neighborhood studio.
